"I Know We Have to Appease the Gods for a Fruitful Harvest, But, Why Me?"

I have no idea what the title is supposed to mean. I guess one shouldn't pay too much attention to the titles of fashion editorials... one can go insane that way. If it was my job to come up with them, taken together they would make some mystical nonsensical story with hints about where I keep a box full of useless trinkets. No one does that anymore, do they? I used to put subliminal messages in PowerPoints I made on mundane subjects for my classes. Conspiracies are a lot of fun aren't they?

Anyway, this is one of my favorite styles: sunny with overtones of death, subtly morbid. When the weather is dreary and sad it's natural for people to feel a little unhappy. When it's sunny and gorgeous it's hard to think about the darker things, but if you do I guess that makes you a true ghoul, you pass the test. If even bright golden sunshine evokes a sense of the paltriness of life and the meaninglessness of it all and the cruelty of existence, one should get a some kind of badge or ribbon.
